The Royers are SICK!!
And we HAVE been sick for over a week. When I thought our colds were winding down, they decided to come back with a vengeance....and pink eye...
As I have been going crazy being quarantined in the house this past week, I decided to catch up on my coupon clipping. With coupons on the brain, I realized that all of the medicine and such that we were using were all purchased with coupons.
Don't roll your eyes yet. If you aren't a believer, hear me out.
This is what our family has gone through this week:
three boxes of Kleenex
one bottle of Children's Sudafed
one box of Theraflu caplets
Vicks waterless vaporizer and five refill pads
one bag of cough drops
one box of homeopathic medicine (given to Uncle Mike...sharing medicine since we share colds!)
one pill of Zicam (sorry...one pill was all I could handle)
one bottle of infant ibuprofen (purchased before my couponing era)
TOTAL COST: $0
Before I started stocking up on the freebies that I scored through couponing, our family would drop an easy $20 when a cold swept through our house. This time, I didn't have to purchase a single thing (except for the pink eye prescription). It's worth it, friends!
So, I would suggest heading over to one of my favorite websites (probably the most "beginner friendly" but still pretty in-depth) and start preparing for your next cold! :)
