Fall Fun
The title of this post is slightly deceiving because the first chunk of pictures are actually of activities that Gavin does at least once a week when he visits Grandma and Grandpa Royer - not just in the fall. I decided one day to take my camera because I had never really documented Gavin's routine when he goes to visit Grandma and Grandpa (since it's a more regular occurance). Anyway, here are the pictures.
The first thing on the agenda is always....ALWAYS....to visit the horses.

We have to say hi to the "bee-bees". It's so cute because he has also learned their names!
Gavin's our little horse whisperer. He'll make little kissy noises and say " a'mere" while he motions with his hand for the horses to come over. He can almost always get them to come over to him.
If the four-wheeler is in sight, he usually has to get on that. Driving is a big deal to him right now.
So Grandpa (or another adult who's around) usually gets roped into putting him on the tractor so that he can drive.

When daddy gets on the tractor Gavin can usually talk him into turning the engine on.
I told him when I took this picture that some day he would be as tall as the tractor tire! (I try not to think about it...)
Some days Grandpa Royer will take Gavin into the field to look for gophers. On this particular day Gavin decided to take a look on his own!
You've gotta give him an A for effort!
When he "dives" he always wants the doors and windows closed so he can have the rig to himself. So right after I took this picture he started saying "door...door" "bye-bye"
And of course, he has to spend some time in grandma and grandpa's new "gass".
