YAHOO FOR PRODUCE!

Sundays have been a very hard watering day for me. Since we leave for church, usually in a huge rush, first thing in the morning I don't get a chance to get into my watering routine until well after lunch/naptime. By that point, it's insanely hot outside and I don't really have much motivation to go outside - particularly today when it's 100-some-odd degrees outside! So anyway, as I'm watering my garden - already frustrated from my earlier watering of the front yard's dry patches - I spot a small little reward for all of my plant-thirst-quenching efforts. There, at the base of one of my tomato plants, sits a beautiful yellow package of wonderfulness (yes, I took a picture):

So considering that pear tomatoes are my ultimate favorite, I was pretty excited! But here's a cute picture of Gavin for those of you who weren't so impressed with the picture of my incredibly tasty tomato.

This is how Gavin fell asleep last night. He's been fascinated by his little bouncy seat from when he was a smaller guy and he's been asking me to get it out for him lately. It's so cute - his tush pretty much hits the ground when he's sitting in it. Anyway, last night he was pretty exhausted because he only had a 30 minute nap and he ended up falling asleep like this - he had been bouncing himself in that position for a while.
So there you go, pictures of a tasty pear tomato and a cute sleeping baby - what more do you need in a blog post?
